Sales Associate – Customer‑focused Recruitment Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Associate to drive direct sales and manage client relationships for our job portal. This junior‑level position focuses on pitching hiring solutions to prospective employers, closing sales, and handling customer feedback and complaints.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct sales pitches to prospective employer clients, clearly communicating the value of our recruitment solutions and portal features.
• Handle sales inquiries, follow up with prospects, conduct client meetings and close deals to meet sales targets.
• Serve as the frontline contact for customer complaints, troubleshoot platform issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collect, record and report customer feedback to support continuous improvement of portal services.
• Train and guide portal users to ensure effective use of the platform.
• Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, retention and repeat purchases.
• Collaborate with Business Development Officers on acquisition campaigns and outreach activities.
• Assist in organizing job fairs, career talks and promotional events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in sales, customer service, account management or a similar client‑facing role.
• Proven ability to handle customer complaints professionally and deliver effective sales pitches.
• Experience with online platforms, technology startups or HR‑related services is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and active‑listening skills.
• Commercially driven with a clear focus on achieving sales targets.

Required skills

• Good digital literacy with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with basic CRM systems for tracking sales activities.
• Comfortable using email and online meeting tools.
• Ability to engage clients through digital communication channels.
