National Advisor – Child Protection

About the role
The National Advisor – Child Protection will support ChildFund Myanmar’s program team in delivering effective child protection interventions across the country. Reporting to the Program Manager, the role focuses on building the capacity of staff and partners, providing technical guidance throughout the project cycle, and ensuring high‑quality monitoring, evaluation and learning.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support to program officers and partners overseeing child protection projects.
- Contribute to the development of project concept notes, proposals and work plans.
- Advise on child protection risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Support the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager in designing and conducting M&E activities for child protection programmes.
- Collaborate with other teams and external stakeholders in Yangon and other regions to ensure integrated programme delivery.
Required profile
- Proven experience in child protection or related humanitarian programmes.
- Strong understanding of project management cycles and capacity‑building approaches.
- Ability to work collaboratively with government, NGOs and community partners.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of local context is an advantage.
