Preschool Teacher

About the role

The Preschool Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for children aged 2 to 5. The role involves creating a supportive classroom environment, guiding play‑based learning, and fostering social and emotional development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans and curriculum supporting play‑based learning.
• Create a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Facilitate daily activities, supervise group play, and monitor each child’s progress.
• Prepare learning materials and resources for hands‑on activities.
• Communicate regularly with families about their child’s experiences and development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure cohesive educational delivery.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education and experience with preschool‑age children.
• Ability to design and implement play‑based curriculum.
• Effective communication skills with children, families, and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working in a diverse classroom.
• Capability to manage classroom safety and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Relevant education or training in early childhood education; teaching certification is a plus.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and teamwork.
