Senior Legal Officer – Legal Operations

About the role

The Senior Legal Officer (Legal Operations) will manage the day‑to‑day legal operational workflow, ensuring that legal requests are captured, processed, and documented in a compliant and audit‑ready manner. Working closely with Business, Compliance, Operations, Group Legal and external counsel, the role guarantees timely delivery of contracts, regulatory filings and collection‑related documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the legal request intake channel, log requests in a tracker, triage them and maintain service level agreements.
• Coordinate the full contract lifecycle – preparation, redlining, approvals, execution, archiving and version control.
• Maintain and update standard contract templates, clause playbooks and legal checklists for recurring workflows.
• Support lending and collections documentation, preparing demand letters, case packs and status trackers.
• Assist in the preparation of board and shareholder documentation, manage calendars of legal deliverables and respond to audit requests.
• Prepare instruction packs for external counsel, track matters and ensure follow‑up on comments and outcomes.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in legal operations, contract administration or a similar legal support function.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, regulatory filing requirements and corporate governance.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple trackers, deadlines and stakeholder communications.
• Proactive attitude, attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as within cross‑functional teams.
