About the role
foodpanda is seeking a Legal Specialist to manage complex commercial agreements, provide legal advice, and ensure corporate compliance within Myanmar.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and advise stakeholders on contract matters.
- Conduct advanced legal research and provide assessments for regional offices or local teams.
- Prepare board resolutions, annual declarations, and ensure compliance with the Law on Commercial Enterprises.
- Identify and implement process improvements for the local legal function.
Required profile
- Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in legal and compliance roles.
- Strong understanding of Burmese legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Required skills
- Excellent drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of commercial and legal agreements under Burmese law.
- Strong analytical skills to assess legal and compliance risks and develop solutions.
