About the role

We are looking for a Legal Specialist to support foodpanda’s operations in Myanmar. The role involves handling commercial contracts, providing legal advice to regional and local teams, and ensuring corporate compliance with Burmese law.

Key responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements and advise stakeholders on contract-related matters.
Provide legal assessments and advisory support to regional offices and local stakeholders as needed.
Prepare board resolutions, annual declarations to the Ministry of Commerce and ensure compliance with the Law on Commercial Enterprises.
Identify and implement process improvements for the local legal function.

Required profile

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
Minimum three years of experience in legal and compliance roles, with strong knowledge of Burmese legal and regulatory frameworks.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Proven ability to draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements under Burmese law.
