Senior Category Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Category Specialist to join our team in Yangon. This full‑time, on‑site position will drive category management strategies, analyze market trends and ensure cost‑effective procurement while supporting overall business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category plans in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Analyze market trends, conduct competitor benchmarking and monitor supplier performance.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Optimize inventory levels, perform cost analysis and drive process improvements.
• Support profitability targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in procurement, supply chain and category management.
• Proficiency in market research, data analysis and competitor benchmarking.
• Experience in negotiation, supplier and contract management.
• Background in inventory control, cost analysis and process optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Prior experience in the automotive or trading industry is a plus.
