About the role
The Vehicle Section Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the vehicle fleet, ensuring safety, compliance, and cost efficiency. This role reports to senior management and coordinates closely with drivers and maintenance staff.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise vehicle utilization, maintenance, and operational activities.
- Assign duties to drivers and staff, monitor performance, and ensure road safety compliance.
- Control maintenance costs, fuel consumption, and related expenses.
- Prepare regular performance reports for management.
- Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies related to fleet management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet or transportation management, with at least 2‑3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of road safety, traffic regulations, and vehicle documentation.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including fleet reporting and record management.
