Ferry Service Manager

About the role

City Solutions Center is looking for a Ferry Service Manager to lead the Group’s shared employee ferry transport operations. The role is responsible for daily ferry management, vendor coordination, and ensuring safe, reliable, and cost‑effective service across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily ferry operations, including route planning, schedules, vehicle and driver assignments, and urgent service changes.
• Manage ferry app workflows for requests, assignments, pickup points, shifts and locations, ensuring accurate data and user support.
• Analyse data and use digital tools to improve routes, vehicle utilisation and service quality.
• Oversee vehicle readiness, maintenance coordination, incident response and backup transport arrangements.
• Coordinate with vehicle owners, transport providers and drivers to meet safety and service standards.
• Control budgets, verify vendor charges and report performance, costs and improvement actions.
• Evaluate vendor performance against SLAs, contracts and KPIs, and manage service requests, feedback and escalations.
• Develop contingency plans for breakdowns, capacity shortages and other disruptions to ensure continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (B.Sc., B.C.Sc. or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years experience in employee transport, fleet or logistics operations with team supervision.
• Hands‑on experience managing transport systems or operational apps and strong Excel and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Proven leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with route optimisation or AI tools is an advantage.
