Senior Bancassurance Consultant – Insurance Sales

About the role

Manulife Myanmar is seeking a Senior Bancassurance Consultant to drive the promotion and sale of life insurance and financial solutions through its bank partners. You will act as the primary liaison between Manulife and bank staff, helping customers protect their financial future.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with head‑office and branch bank staff to market Manulife’s insurance and financial products.
• Engage bank customers, assess their protection and savings needs, and recommend appropriate life‑insurance solutions.
• Conduct daily consultations, explain products, and submit policy applications in line with Manulife’s regulations.
• Achieve assigned sales targets while maintaining strong partner relationships and ensuring compliance.
• Participate in training, utilise sales tools and reports, and support branch‑level marketing activities.

Required profile

• Proven sales and customer‑relationship experience in financial services, insurance or bancassurance; licences preferred.
• Ability to perform needs‑based selling and clearly explain complex insurance solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with bank staff and internal teams.
• Analytical capability to track performance, conversion rates and customer feedback.
• Attention to detail, integrity and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the assigned branch in a target‑driven environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business Development, Sales & Marketing or related field; senior‑level bancassurance experience is a plus.
