Partnership Facilitator II – Myanmar

About the role

The Myanmar Council of Churches' Holistic Child Development Project is seeking a committed Christian professional to serve as a Partnership Facilitator. The role focuses on strengthening relationships with church partners, building capacity, and supporting child and youth development initiatives across Myanmar.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with partner churches, facilitating ownership and leadership development.
• Support churches in identifying ministry priorities, developing annual plans, budgets, and program activities for children and youth.
• Coordinate support from the Church Facing Team, monitor progress, and assist churches in overcoming implementation challenges.
• Oversee a cluster of partner churches, promote peer learning, and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
• Promote and support child protection policies, ensuring safeguarding practices are followed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Work, Theology, Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in community development, child‑focused programming, or church partnership management.
• Demonstrated personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to Christian values.
• Strong Burmese language skills (written and spoken); working knowledge of English is an advantage.
