Manager, Agency Management (Myeik)

About the role

This position is responsible for driving sales and recruiting high‑calibre candidates to achieve key targets and objectives in Myeik.

Key responsibilities

• Establish sales and referral networks with local businesses to maximise value from connections.
• Lead and motivate talent for the development and start‑up of the agency district.
• Implement sales training and orientation programmes for new hires as the operation grows.
• Assess the business landscape and adjust the Sales & Promotion programme accordingly.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term business plans.
• Monitor team performance to ensure continuous, sustainable growth.
• Contribute to overall agency distribution management and strategy recommendations.
• Manage and execute projects impacting the entire agency’s operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably in finance or another service industry.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven record of continuous growth and winning performance.

Required skills

• Good understanding of business diversity and ability to prospect and drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Basic understanding of insurance product features and design.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and motivational skills.
• Leadership, strategic mindset, vision and persistence.
• Negotiation, influencing and conflict‑handling abilities.
• Tech‑savvy, advocate of digital tools.
• Exceptional command of English and Burmese, both written and verbal.
