Sales Executive – Specialty Chemicals

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive with technical knowledge to grow our specialty chemical raw materials business in Myanmar, focusing on paints, coatings and construction chemicals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new B2B customers, including paint, coatings and construction chemical manufacturers.
• Promote and sell specialty chemical raw materials and functional additives for relevant formulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and technical decision‑makers.
• Coordinate product samples, technical specifications, trials and approvals with suppliers.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing and emerging opportunities.
• Conduct regular factory visits, customer meetings and field visits.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines and monthly progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry or related field.
• 2–5 years of B2B sales experience in specialty chemicals, paints and coatings, or construction chemicals.
• Existing relationships with Myanmar paint or construction chemical manufacturers are a strong advantage.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for customer and factory visits.
• Good working knowledge of English and Myanmar.

Required skills

• Knowledge of chemical raw materials used in protective coatings, waterproofing, concrete admixtures, tile adhesives and industrial flooring.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
