Lawyer (Corporate/Commercial) – Full Time

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lawyer to join our corporate legal team in Yangon. The role focuses on corporate and commercial matters, including real estate and property law, and requires hands‑on involvement in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents.

Key responsibilities

• Handle corporate and commercial legal issues, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Draft, review, and amend contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Manage real estate and property law matters and coordinate with relevant government departments.
• Conduct litigation support and represent the company in court when required.
• Liaise with the Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) on investment‑related matters.
• Travel to other regions as needed to fulfill legal responsibilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the legal field.
• Proven experience in real estate/property law and related government procedures.
• Litigation experience with a track record of handling cases.
• Prior experience working in an in‑house corporate legal department.
• Ability to travel for work assignments.
• Intermediate proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
