Consumer & Research Analyst

About the role

The Consumer & Research Analyst conducts consumer, product and market research to generate actionable insights and identify business opportunities that support growth, innovation and strategic decisions within CHL.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze consumer needs, behaviors, preferences and product expectations.
• Conduct secondary research and support primary research when required.
• Develop consumer, product and market insight briefs and assess opportunities in line with research priorities.
• Research new products, business models and international market concepts.
• Support market research and feasibility studies with relevant CHL teams.
• Translate findings into actionable insights and provide evidence for sector research and opportunity assessments.
• Maintain research findings, references and lessons learned in the Group Insights knowledge base.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, marketing, business analysis, category management or product research, preferably in FMCG, retail, F&B or distribution.
• Good communication and presentation skills, working-level English, and willingness to travel for market visits.

Required skills

• Strong research, data collection and interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Power BI is an advantage.
