Business Development Manager for International Student Recruitment

About the role

The Business Development Manager for International Student Recruitment will lead all recruitment, business development, account management and marketing activities for B2B channels across the assigned region. Working closely with Company Directors, you will shape and execute strategies that attract international students to GUS institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee student recruitment, business development, and B2B marketing events across the country or region.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
• Represent a GUS university or college located in Europe, North America or Asia.
• Maintain and expand relationships with education agents and key stakeholders.
• Source new agents through fairs, business trips, referrals and other channels.
• Generate new revenue from existing accounts and identify fresh business opportunities.
• Conduct client research and engage with industry players.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international student recruitment for higher education.
• Established network of education agencies and strong stakeholder relationships.
• Deep understanding of industry trends and ability to inform strategic planning.
• Track record of training agents and developing business partners.
• Motivated, confident presenter comfortable delivering workshops, conferences and on‑camera sessions.
