Area Sales Manager – Taunggyi

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead the sales team in the Taunggyi region, driving revenue growth and ensuring strong market presence for our beverage portfolio. You will be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and executing the regional sales strategy while maintaining excellent relationships with customers and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare area sales forecasts and set distribution, volume, and merchandising targets for each team member.
• Monitor team performance against targets and provide coaching to achieve goals.
• Contribute local insights to the regional business plan and oversee the area sales budget.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with direct customers and wholesalers.
• Track sales, collection, and outstanding payments, ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Maintain a healthy product mix aligned with area objectives and achieve sales volume targets.
• Ensure draught accounts receive scheduled technical and cleaning services.
• Increase brand visibility in outlets and execute brand activation activities.
• Monitor competitor activity, distribution performance, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree or an advanced diploma.
• At least 5 years of sales management experience, preferably in FMCG or beer.
• Strong command of English and excellent computer literacy.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
