Senior System Engineer (IT Support)

About the role

The Senior System Engineer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Yangon Region, Myanmar. You will design, implement and maintain enterprise systems that support the company’s software solutions and internal operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and design systems architecture, configure and administer servers and related infrastructure.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning and advanced troubleshooting to ensure stability and scalability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate and optimise applications.
• Monitor system security, execute regular backups and document configurations and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes and high‑availability configurations.

Required profile

• Strong systems engineering and design expertise with hands‑on system administration experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience with infrastructure monitoring, performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of security best practices, backup and recovery strategies, and high‑availability setups.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Previous experience in enterprise or financial software environments is a plus.
