About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Supervisor to lead the daily operations of a supermarket. The role focuses on driving sales performance, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service across the store.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day store operations and coordinate staff activities.
- Monitor sales targets, control shrinkage and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure product replacement follows effective display guidelines.
- Apply FIFO and FEFO principles to manage stock expiry.
- Assign shifts, manage subordinates and allocate tasks efficiently.
- Develop the team to deliver high‑quality customer service.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Required profile
- 3–4 years of experience in retail sales or supermarket supervision.
- Proven ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration.
- Strong focus on people development and performance management.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Competent use of Gmail for communication.
