Sales Assistant – Customer Relations & Support

About the role

The Sales Assistant will support the Sales & Marketing team in Yangon by managing customer information, coordinating appointments, and assisting with the preparation of quotations, proposals and tender documents. This position ensures smooth communication between clients and internal departments, contributing to the overall sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, verify and continuously update the potential customer database to ensure accurate targeting.
• Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients, schedule and confirm appointments for the sales team.
• Assist in drafting and finalising quotations, proposals and tender documents in line with company standards.
• Coordinate meetings, site surveys and customer visits, handling logistics and documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive customer records and sales databases for easy retrieval and analysis.
• Follow up with customers after meetings, providing necessary documentation and addressing any queries.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales performance reports for management review.
• Liaise with Operations and Finance departments to align customer requirements with service delivery and invoicing.
• Arrange timely delivery of contracts, quotations, invoices and related paperwork to clients.
• Provide general administrative and documentation support to the Sales & Marketing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Certificate in Sales and Marketing.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in sales support or customer relations.
• Strong communication skills and a valid driver’s licence preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
