Procurement Executive

About the role

The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing and purchasing a range of spare parts, consumables and maintenance items for generators and elevators, ensuring stock levels and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase generator spare parts, repair and maintenance services, engine oil, batteries, monitoring system devices, and related consumables.
• Maintain quarterly stock levels for items such as AVR cards, DSE controller cards, main oil seals, and pressure switches.
• Manage quarterly maintenance purchases based on running hours, including engine oil, coolant, filters, and fan belts.
• Procure elevator spare parts, conduct price inquiries, and handle monthly consumables like kerosene, hardware, and cleaning items.
• Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services; evaluate suppliers and negotiate terms.
• Prepare comparison documents, necessary audit and accounting paperwork, and follow up on submissions.
• Coordinate delivery of goods to the warehouse, verify correctness, and ensure user satisfaction.
• Update supplier information regularly and maintain good supplier relationships.
• Research and evaluate prospective suppliers, prepare budgets, conduct cost analysis, and generate reports.
• Manage the Procurement Assistant, assign tasks, and undertake additional duties as assigned by the manager.
