M&E Technician (On‑site, Yangon)

About the role

The M&E Technician role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Yangon. The technician will monitor mechanical and electrical systems, perform routine inspections and respond to system alerts to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical and electrical systems and perform regular inspections.
• Respond to system alerts or performance issues promptly.
• Provide technical assistance, troubleshoot and repair equipment for internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of system performance and support data collection for M&E activities.
• Coordinate with other technical staff to address maintenance needs.
• Suggest technical enhancements based on performance data and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, electronics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in M&E, facilities maintenance, or industrial systems (preferred).
• Understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work on‑site in Yangon, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies and participate in ongoing training.
