Fresh Food and Production Executive

About the role

The Fresh Food and Production Executive is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Insein, responsible for overseeing daily operations in the fresh food section and related production areas of City Mart Holding.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Coordinate food preparation, packaging, and merchandising activities, supporting pricing and promotional initiatives.
• Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, and waste reduction to maintain product availability.
• Supervise staff schedules, performance, and training, fostering a customer‑focused mindset.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, track sales performance, and implement operational improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in fresh food operations, production management, or supermarket/retail environments with a strong focus on food safety.
• Team leadership and people management abilities, including supervising frontline staff and organizing schedules.
• Operational planning and problem‑solving skills to coordinate daily production activities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with suppliers and internal departments.
• Basic numerical and analytical abilities to monitor sales, margins, and wastage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in food science, hospitality, business, or related field is an advantage.
