About the role
The Junior Auditor will support the audit team by performing regular and surprise audits across retail stores, branches, warehouses and other business operations. This role involves verifying inventory, cash and revenue records to ensure compliance with company procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular and surprise audits of retail locations and business operations.
- Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile stock balances with system records.
- Identify inventory variances, cash discrepancies, revenue leakages and control weaknesses.
- Review procurement, purchasing, expenses and supplier transactions for compliance.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in internal audit, external audit, retail audit, accounting or a related area.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Data analysis capabilities.
- Experience with POS/ERP systems.
- Audit reporting skills.
