Auditor

About the role

The Auditor will conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Submit timely audit reports to the Internal Audit Manager and Head of Department.
• Prepare audit working papers and present findings and recommendations.
• Assess internal controls, financial record accuracy, and operational efficiency using professional audit standards.
• Conduct compliance reviews covering taxation, employment law, and other local regulations.
• Build strong working relationships with other departments and perform any other duties as directed.

Required profile

• University degree in Commerce, Accounting or Business; graduate degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience or relevant education in auditing, accounting, or operations.
• Good understanding of auditing and accounting practices and willingness to learn new techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet constant deadlines.
• Proficient in English and Myanmar communication, both written and oral.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the country.
