Fleet Supervisor

About the role

The Fleet Supervisor oversees daily fleet operations, ensuring efficient vehicle allocation, dispatch, and routing while maintaining cost-effective fuel and maintenance management.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day fleet operations including vehicle allocation, dispatch, and routing.
• Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and maintenance schedules to ensure cost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle documents and maintenance data.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with workshops or vendors.
• Manage and supervise drivers and fleet staff, including scheduling and disciplinary actions.
• Track and analyze fleet performance data, preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Investigate and report accidents, damages, or traffic violations promptly.
• Coordinate with other departments for operational needs and report to the Assistant Fleet Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree or minimum diploma.
• Valid driving license.
• Experience supervising a fleet management team.
• Reporting skills and general office/administrative abilities.
• Knowledge of fleet management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Internet and email usage.
