Supply Chain Executive

About the role

The Supply Chain Executive will manage end‑to‑end import operations for rice mill machinery, equipment, spare parts and other factory materials, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing production downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents and internal departments to ensure smooth import and logistics operations.
• Prepare and process Import License applications, handle all import documentation and follow up with authorities.
• Manage border trade procedures, including transportation arrangements, customs clearance and delivery to the factory.
• Review technical specifications, HS codes and import requirements for machinery and spare parts.
• Prioritise critical spare parts with Engineering, Maintenance and Production teams and monitor shipment schedules, ETA and delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in import operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Practical knowledge of import procedures, customs clearance and border trade processes in Myanmar.
• Strong coordination and communication skills to work with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for shipment tracking and documentation.
• Experience with Import License applications and customs clearance processes.
• Knowledge of HS code classification and import regulations.
• Ability to prepare and review commercial import documents such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin and Bills of Lading.
