Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead Yoma Heavy Equipment’s finance and accounting functions, ensuring financial integrity, strong internal controls, and compliance with statutory requirements. This senior position oversees reporting, treasury, budgeting, audit management, and risk while building a high‑performing finance team to support the company’s growth in heavy machinery, generator, and commercial truck trading.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Finance, Accounting, Treasury and Risk teams; set performance objectives and KPIs.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across all business units, providing actionable insights to improve profitability.
• Oversee treasury operations, cash management, banking relationships and financing facilities to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Manage working capital, including receivables, payables and inventory financing.
• Monitor and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Lead the consolidation of financial reports across multiple entities.
• Partner with business leaders on strategic planning, investment decisions and financial modeling.
