Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will be fully accountable for the company’s financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management, audit coordination and statutory compliance. Reporting to the Executive Director/Co‑Founders, the role works closely with the CFO and department heads to deliver accurate and timely financial information that supports strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans, analysing variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly management reports and group consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP, including profit & loss, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register, oversee depreciation schedules and conduct periodic asset verification.
• Monitor daily cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and maintain banking relationships to ensure sufficient liquidity.
• Ensure full compliance with Myanmar tax laws and regulatory requirements, coordinate external audits and tax filings, and uphold internal control policies.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering cross‑functional collaboration with other departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance management, budgeting and financial reporting within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local Myanmar GAAP and statutory compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical abilities with a track record of delivering accurate financial statements and insights.
• Effective communication skills to present findings to senior leadership and shareholders.
