Data Engineer (Project-Based)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines across traditional and cloud platforms. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure data reliability, security, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Microsoft stack (SSIS, SSRS, SQL) and Azure services (ADF, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps).
• Provide Level 3 production support, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Conduct design, code, and test reviews to ensure quality and compliance with platform guardrails.
• Collaborate with teams to improve data consistency, integration, and availability across the organization.
• Mentor team members on agile practices, continuous delivery, and technical upskilling.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing data pipelines in both traditional and cloud environments.
• Degree in a technical or analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems).
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or life insurance domains is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical rigor, and a proactive learning mindset.

• Azure technologies: Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps.
• Data platforms: Data Lake, Synapse, PySpark.
