About the role
The Cashier Supervisor oversees daily cash operations in a supermarket, ensuring accurate cash handling, customer service, and coordination with other departments.
Key responsibilities
- Assign daily duties, manage queue and cash counter control.
- Communicate with finance for cash flow, manage shift end and cash collection processes.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, oversee bagging and category awareness.
- Coach staff, develop people, and liaise with software and IT teams for customer satisfaction.
Required profile
- 3‑4 years of relevant experience in cash handling or retail supervision.
- Honest, integrity, strong cash flow management and fraud prevention awareness.
