Business, Economics & Accounting Teacher

About the role

The Business, Economics & Accounting Teacher will deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons that inspire secondary students to develop strong analytical, financial and critical thinking skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in Business Studies, Economics and Accounting, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Design, administer and evaluate assignments, quizzes and examinations, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain a positive, safe and disciplined classroom environment that promotes active engagement and independent learning.
• Participate in curriculum planning, moderation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to improve student outcomes.
• Supervise students during duties and school activities and keep accurate academic records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Education or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in Business Studies, Economics or Accounting, preferably with Cambridge IGCSE/A Level experience.
• Teaching qualification preferred; Cambridge IGCSE/A Level teaching certification is an advantage.
