Vice Principal

About the role

The Vice Principal will be a core member of the academic leadership team, collaborating with the Principal, board, and department heads to uphold high standards of teaching and learning across multiple curricula.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery, integration, and compliance of IGCSE, A‑Level, and OSSD programs, ensuring alignment with global best practices.
• Manage daily school operations, including master scheduling, faculty allocation, and facility management.
• Lead teacher evaluation, mentorship, and professional development initiatives.
• Coordinate with Success Admissions to align academic advising with university admission strategies.
• Maintain compliance with Cambridge International and Ontario Ministry standards, handling audits and external assessments.
• Serve as liaison for parents and guardians regarding academic progress and curriculum pathways.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Public Policy, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years in educational leadership or senior academic administration within an international school.
• Deep knowledge of UK curricula (IGCSE & A‑Levels) and familiarity with OSSD.
• Strategic vision to balance educational outcomes with business objectives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative, organized leadership style fostering a positive school culture.
