Business Development Supervisor

About the role

Dr. Nathan Marketing & Consultancy, a Yangon-based startup founded in 2020 by doctors and serving the healthcare industry in Myanmar, is hiring a Business Development Supervisor. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Yangon with some flexibility for work from home. The role identifies new sales and business opportunities, nurtures relationships with healthcare clients and oversees business growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analyze market trends
• Prepare proposals and initiate and coordinate sales activities
• Follow up on leads to turn prospects into long-term partners
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align service offerings with client needs
• Monitor performance against targets and prepare regular business reports for management
• Supervise and guide junior team members and ensure consistent, high-quality client communication

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
• Experience in healthcare or marketing services is an advantage, especially in the Myanmar market
• Ability to supervise and mentor team members, manage multiple projects and work independently in a hybrid environment

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data, client feedback and performance metrics
• Proficiency in business planning, including setting objectives, creating growth strategies and preparing proposals or business cases
• Demonstrated sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management and closing deals
• Effective communication for client meetings, presentations and negotiations
• Market research experience, including competitor analysis
• Comfort with MS Office; familiarity with sales tracking tools is beneficial
