Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will drive growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and coordinating cross‑functional initiatives. This full‑time position is based in Yangon and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute strategic plans to expand the business.
• Prepare proposals, reports, and presentations for prospective clients.
• Maintain regular communication with existing and potential clients via calls and emails.
• Conduct market research to uncover trends and new opportunities.
• Oversee project timelines to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Collaborate with other departments to align business plans.
• Organise and attend meetings, events, and industry gatherings.
• Lead promotional campaigns, video production, and influencer/media partner coordination.
• Track performance metrics and report results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or Diploma) in Business Management, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Leadership capability and ability to manage a team.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
