Accountant

About the role

The Finance team is seeking a diligent Accountant to manage daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support budgeting processes. This full‑time position is based onsite in Yangon and offers a structured work schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and prepare the daily cash book and management reports promptly.
• Monitor daily stock movements and conduct monthly physical stock audits.
• Review pre‑order purchases and perform variance analysis.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and compare actuals against the approved budget.
• Record daily financial transactions using V6 accounting software.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) operations.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure timely completion of financial processes.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and document variances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Diploma in LCCI Levels I, II, and III.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel functions.
• Proficiency with V6 accounting software (advantage).
• Microsoft Office applications.
