Account & Finance Executive

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Account & Finance Executive to join our team in Yangon. The role combines core accounting responsibilities with broader financial management duties, offering a dynamic environment for professionals with a solid foundation in finance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journal entries, and ledgers.
• Produce periodic financial statements, management reports, and tax filings.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow analysis.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
• Utilise accounting software and advanced Excel functions to streamline processes.

Required profile

• Any graduate with LCCI Level III (for accounting duties) or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience and at least 3 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software.
