Year 5 Homeroom Teacher – Maths, Science & Global Perspectives

About the role

KINGS International School, Star City Campus, is seeking a passionate and qualified Year 5 Homeroom Teacher to deliver Mathematics, Science and Global Perspectives to upper‑primary students.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics, Science and Global Perspectives to Year 5 classes.
• Design and deliver engaging, student‑centred lessons.
• Foster a positive, supportive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and personal development.

Required profile

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, Science and Global Perspectives at Year 5 level.
• Ability to design and implement effective curriculum plans aligned with school standards.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues and liaising with families.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field; teaching certification is an advantage.
• Experience in an international or bilingual school setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to create inclusive, student‑centred classrooms and manage diverse learning needs.
• Commitment to professional growth, ethical conduct and contributing to the school’s mission and values.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of the local language and context in Myanmar is beneficial.
