Treasury Specialist (Payments)

About the role

The Treasury Specialist (Payments) supports the Finance Department by managing employee reimbursements, vendor payments, and site lease disbursements. The role ensures that all payments are processed accurately and on time to meet month‑end closing requirements and maintain the company’s strong financial standing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare checks and process disbursements, including physical submission to banks when required.
• Handle cash safely for all transactions and report on petty‑cash and payment activities.
• Assist in preparing actual cash‑outflow reports and monitoring daily bank balances.
• Support bank account opening/closing, signatory changes, and maintain relationships with banking institutions.
• Review and verify documentation before processing payments and arrange supporting documents for signatory approvals.
• Participate in finance projects and other tasks assigned by the Treasury Manager.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in accounting, treasury, or a related financial field.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA) are a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the telecom industry is preferred.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of cash‑management principles and cash‑balance optimization.
• Excellent mathematical and computer skills with high attention to detail.
