Senior Logistics Manager (Export & Import)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to lead our export and import operations for furniture products. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on management of documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarding and 3PL relationships to ensure smooth, compliant and cost‑effective international deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end export and international logistics operations for furniture and related products.
• Prepare, review and maintain accurate export/import documentation.
• Coordinate customs clearance, freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters and overseas partners.
• Source, evaluate and manage 3PL and logistics service providers.
• Monitor logistics costs, shipment schedules, delivery performance and 3PL service level agreements.
• Ensure compliance with customs, trade regulations and international shipping requirements.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, service quality and cost‑effectiveness.
• Lead, develop and report on the performance of the logistics team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business or a related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in logistics, export/import, supply chain or international trade, including managerial experience.
• Strong background in international export operations, documentation, customs, freight forwarding and 3PL management.
• Solid knowledge of Incoterms and international trade practices.
• Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving, coordination and communication abilities.
• Good English communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Microsoft Office suite).
