Procurement Supervisor

About the role

The Procurement Supervisor leads the sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure the organization obtains high‑quality goods and services at the best possible cost and delivery schedule. This role works closely with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain smooth supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal terms for quality, price, and delivery.
• Create, approve, and track purchase orders, guaranteeing timely procurement of materials and services.
• Implement cost‑saving initiatives while maintaining product and service quality.
• Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to keep accurate stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Review and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
• Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, price fluctuations, and new product offerings.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or payment.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
• Supervise and support the procurement team, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Prepare procurement reports, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and order status for management review.

Required profile

• Any graduate degree.
• 3‑5 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong command of English.
• Good knowledge of product specifications and warehouse procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
