Sales Executive – Business Development in Solar Energy

About the role

Solar Age is seeking a proactive, customer‑oriented Sales Executive to generate new business opportunities and expand its commercial pipeline in Myanmar. You will work closely with clients to understand their energy needs and promote solar power and storage solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers via calls, LinkedIn, referrals, networking and direct outreach.
• Arrange client meetings, present Solar Age’s solutions, and assess energy requirements.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, consistently following up on sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with the technical team to prepare quotations, presentations and commercial proposals.
• Maintain customer data, sales pipelines, follow‑up schedules and reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits and networking activities while working toward agreed sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in sales, business development, customer service or account management (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Confident in approaching new customers and engaging with business owners and corporate clients.
• Good spoken and written Myanmar and English.
• Proactive, organized, responsible and willing to attend customer meetings and site visits.
