PYP Homeroom Teacher – International School in Mandalay

About the role

We are seeking an experienced PYP Homeroom teacher to join our IB International School in Mandalay. The successful candidate will deliver the Primary Years Programme, fostering inquiry, creativity and student agency from August 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver transdisciplinary Units of Inquiry that develop conceptual understanding and critical thinking.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports holistic student growth.
• Collaborate with international faculty to innovate curriculum and contribute to school development.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback aligned with IB standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (PGCE or equivalent recognised teaching qualification).
• Minimum three years of IB PYP teaching experience, preferably in an international school.
• Strong understanding of inquiry‑based learning and student‑centred pedagogy.
• Passionate, collaborative and committed to student wellbeing.
