Partnership Facilitator II

About the role

The Myanmar Council of Churches' Holistic Child Development Project is seeking a committed Christian professional to serve as a Partnership Facilitator II. The role focuses on strengthening relationships with church partners, building capacity, and supporting child and youth development initiatives across Myanmar.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with partner churches, facilitating leadership development and organizational capacity strengthening.
• Support churches in identifying ministry priorities, developing annual plans, budgets, and program activities for children and youth.
• Coordinate support from the Church Facing Team, develop facilitation workplans, and ensure timely reporting and documentation.
• Promote and support child protection policies, ensuring safeguarding standards are implemented across partner churches.
• Oversee clusters of partner churches, fostering peer learning, resource sharing, and community engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Work, Theology, Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant professional experience in community development, child-focused programming, or church partnership management.
• Demonstrated personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to Christian values.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Myanmar (up to 50% of working time).

Required skills

• Strong facilitation, coaching, and relationship‑management abilities.
• Proficiency in Burmese (written and spoken); working knowledge of English is an advantage.
