Procurement & Planning Manager

About the role

The Procurement & Planning Manager will lead supply‑chain planning and procurement activities for KFC Myanmar. You will ensure accurate demand forecasts, maintain optimal inventory levels, and negotiate contracts that support business growth while minimizing waste.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for all KFC Myanmar products, incorporating sales history, seasonality, marketing campaigns, menu changes and new store openings.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Finance to align forecasts with sales targets, promotional calendars and business plans.
• Maintain and improve forecasting models and systems for greater accuracy.
• Design and execute procurement strategies that achieve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Identify savings opportunities through supplier sourcing, tendering and negotiations.
• Manage supplier relationships, scout new vendors and mitigate supply‑risk through robust risk‑management procedures.
• Supervise the purchasing team, delegate tasks across departments and ensure contracts are favorable and enforceable.
• Produce monthly KPI dashboards and communicate supply‑flow status to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or procurement/supply‑chain certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in food & beverage, retail or QSR environments preferred.
• Strong negotiation, conflict‑resolution and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Myanmar; Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
