Primary IB PYP Homeroom Teacher – Mandalay, Myanmar (Start Aug 2026)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary IB PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our international school community in Mandalay, Myanmar, beginning in August 2026. The role focuses on delivering the IB Primary Years Programme through inquiry‑based, student‑centred learning, fostering confident and globally minded learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging PYP units that promote curiosity, collaboration and independent thinking.
• Maintain a supportive classroom environment where every child feels challenged and inspired.
• Collaborate with grade‑level teams to integrate the IB philosophy across subjects.
• Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
• Contribute to the school’s professional development initiatives and share best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching the IB PYP curriculum.
• Previous experience in an international school setting.
• Strong understanding of inquiry‑based and concept‑driven teaching.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and classroom‑management abilities.
