Operations Manager (Travel and Tour Agency)

About the role

A travel and tour agency is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee its day-to-day operations. The role covers coordinating tour packages, flights, hotels and transport, managing staff and working closely with sales, ticketing, reservation and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily travel and tour operations.
• Coordinate tour packages, flight tickets, hotel bookings and transportation.
• Supervise and manage operations staff.
• Work with Sales, Ticketing, Reservation and Finance teams.
• Negotiate with suppliers and travel partners.
• Handle customer complaints and operational issues.
• Monitor operational costs, payments and profitability.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Travel & Tour operations.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of tour packages, ticketing, hotel bookings and reservations.
• Good command of Myanmar and English.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
