Operations & Maintenance Manager (O&M) – Yangon

About the role

The Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager will lead day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of network and infrastructure assets for a leading telecommunications developer in Myanmar. Based in Yangon, the role ensures high availability, safety and quality while supporting ongoing projects and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for telecom infrastructure.
• Monitor performance metrics, optimize resource utilization and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Lead, coach and mentor operations and field teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve service issues promptly and support project delivery.
• Implement process improvements and ensure alignment with company policies.

Required profile

• Strong operations management experience, including planning, process optimisation and performance monitoring.
• Proficiency in maintenance management for infrastructure or telecommunications assets.
• Project management background covering timeline coordination, resource allocation and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated team‑leadership abilities with experience in coaching and workload prioritisation.
• Customer‑service orientation to manage service issues and maintain satisfaction levels.
• Relevant experience in telecommunications, infrastructure or related industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Operations Management or a related field preferred.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with a focus on safety and compliance.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Yangon and collaborate with diverse teams.
