IP Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IP Network Engineer to join our team and ensure the reliability and performance of our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for troubleshooting incidents, supporting project implementations, and maintaining network components.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily troubleshooting of network incidents, identify root causes and produce detailed incident reports.
• Resolve network‑related issues that arise during project implementation and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide on‑call or standby support for network maintenance, upgrades, and service recovery operations.
• Plan, schedule, and execute upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance of network components.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, incident resolutions, and change management activities.
• Collaborate with system administrators, security engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless operations.
• Execute special assignments directed by management to support network performance and availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in network administration, troubleshooting and support.
• Willingness to work in shifts or participate in on‑call rotation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or JNCIA are a plus.

Required skills

• Networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs.
• Network hardware: routers, switches, firewalls.
• Network monitoring and diagnostic tools: Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG.
