Grants Acquisition Development Manager

About the role

World Vision Myanmar is seeking a Grants Acquisition Development Manager to lead the grant proposal process, strengthen donor relationships, and drive resource mobilization across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and submission of grant proposals, coordinating technical input from internal teams.
• Support senior leadership in nurturing donor, partner, and network relationships, providing strategic advice and written materials for engagements.
• Develop and implement WVIM’s resource mobilization strategy, identifying innovative funding streams.
• Conduct donor intelligence, prospecting, and funding landscape assessments, performing “Go/No‑Go” analyses for opportunities.
• Strengthen internal grant acquisition processes and build capability across the organization.
• Oversee the Grant Acquisition Department, including recruitment, work allocation, and staff performance management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in development studies, international development, public health, agriculture, economics or related field; MSc/MA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in program design, proposal writing, funding acquisition and donor relations.
• At least 3 years of experience managing a unit or department.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
• Knowledge of the humanitarian sector and major bilateral/multilateral donors operating in Myanmar.
